PMC Lighting introduces our August Featured Agent, Texas Lighting Solutions.

This month, PMC Lighting’s Western Regional Sales Manager, Jim Smith, has chosen Texas Lighting Solutions as our Agent of the Month. Texas Lighting has been in business for 32 years and is committed to providing their customers with the utmost in service, state-of-the-art lighting products, and the technological support they need to thrive in the lighting industry.

“Since our partnership began back in 2013, Texas Lighting Solutions (TLS) has effectively utilized PMC Lighting’s ‘Build 2 Spec’ capabilities to deliver customizable solutions to their customers,” says Jim Smith. “In addition, TLS continuously turns to PMC Lighting’s core linear product offering to help bridge material gaps that periodically arise on lighting projects. This combination of standard and customized product solutions provides competitive, creative, and innovative answers to challenging lighting applications.”

Mark Horton, Principal and Managing Partner of TLS, adds, “Throughout our 6+ year partnership, PMC Lighting has been a pleasure to work alongside. PMC Lighting is fearless – from modifications to complete custom luminaires, they have the engineering and design resources allowing the most complex projects to flow smoothly. In addition, they are easy to do business with which helps drive our business together.”

Texas Tech University Health Science Center – El Paso, TX

“When Mark Horton and Kaleb Lunt from Texas Lighting Solutions were looking for a special product solution on a project at Texas Tech University with Chambers Engineering in Lubbock, TX they asked PMC Lighting to develop a Build 2 Spec lighting solution for the school’s Health Science Center in El Paso, TX.” Smith continues. “Working together with all parties, a unique product was engineered and a solution delivered that satisfied the aesthetic and performance requirements of the architect, engineer, and the University.”

Mark Horton also adds, “This project with PMC Lighting began with a description of a 2×2 drop basket luminaire – PMC Lighting delivered. As a result of the PMC Lighting’s efforts on the initial project, Kaleb Lunt (TLS Lubbock) worked with the specifier to write a specification around the new Nelio 9062 series on the Texas Tech HSC Dental Learning Center finish out portion.”

The Texas Lighting Solutions/PMC Lighting relationship continues to flourish as the demand for specific unique architectural and technological LED lighting solutions is ever growing. We look forward to more projects with this talented team.
