Vital Vio’s new disinfection technology, melded with Build-2-Specification lighting from PMC Lighting, will allow a variety of companies to install customized germ-fighting LED fixtures.

How Does It Work?
Vital Vio LEDs emit an attractive, truly white light that is safe for humans, pets, and plants. The VioSafe® White Light Disinfection® technology continuously protects environments from harmful bacteria using wavelengths of visible light in the 400-450 nm range, which cause bacterial cell death but have no harmful effect on humans. It creates a truly pleasing, white light, that looks like ordinary light, but multi-tasks to disinfect and illuminate indoor spaces.
